What your position does

So you wanna know what your position does

In lower politics more routine matters are usually discussed upon. Nevertheless, a public library will have an incredible amount of information on your position readily available. If you do not know your way around the dewey decimal system ask the librarian or information clerk. Alternately, you can call or ask the incumbent of a similar position (most likely a secretary of some sort). Be sure to ask what they do and how they first involved themselves in politics and how they acquired the position they are at today. If the person is very accessible, do a lunch meeting with them and pick their brains, usually people will be flattered at your request.
