If written correctly and used by your supporters well, the fundraiser tear-off sheet will fill the campaign financing some, but usually not nearly enough. After Announcement you can prepare for further funds by holding a fund raiser of some sort. Be very creative and share your ideas along with your campaign manager and appointed committee members. Some may say to rent a park and get a cheap local band to perform while simultaneously having free food and drink or in barbecue eat-out form as general perks for their support. The cost to enter into this lively situation will be gathered at the front door or line of the event or pre-sold in tickets ranging from $4.00 to $15.00 , or a combination of the two. Your petition staff can handle the tickets sold before the event.. Contests and local sponsorships will further lighten the mood. Advertising for this event can be sent in radio, television, newspaper ads, or in the newsletter to your supporter leading up to this event.
